Villanova Dubailand: A Home Cleaning Guide by Cluster

·8 October 2026·6 min read·Cleaning Guides
A quiet street of Mediterranean-style townhouses with terracotta roofs and landscaped gardens in Villanova, Dubailand

Villanova is one of the communities our teams visit most. It is a calm, green, family community in Dubailand, built by Dubai Properties, and it asks a little more of a cleaning routine than its tidy streets suggest. This guide explains what each cluster is like to look after, where the dust comes from, and how families here keep their homes clean without spending their weekends on it.

Villanova at a glance

Villanova is made up of four main residential clusters, each with its own character, plus a newer phase still under construction.

ClusterWhat you find thereWhat it usually needs
AmarantaThe original phase and the largest cluster, mainly townhouses in a gated layoutA weekly maid slot, plus a deep clean when a tenancy changes
La QuintaThe villa cluster, larger homes on bigger plotsLonger visits or two cleaners, and regular window cleaning
La RosaTownhouse-led, spread across several sub-phasesWeekly housekeeping and a seasonal deep clean
La VioletaTownhouses with a cleaner, more modern finishWeekly housekeeping and careful product choice on light finishes
La TiliaThe newest phase, still being builtNothing yet, but its construction is why the rest of Villanova keeps dusting over

If you are not sure which cluster your home sits in, your title deed or tenancy contract will say. Tell us when you book and we plan the visit around it.

Why Villanova homes collect more dust than you expect

Villanova sits in open Dubailand, with undeveloped land around it and building work still going on in the newer phases and the districts nearby. Fine dust travels on the wind, settles on terraces and window ledges, and slips in through door gaps and AC returns.

The result is a pattern most residents recognise. The house looks clean on Sunday and grey again by Wednesday. That is not a sign of a bad clean. It is a sign that the home needs a rhythm rather than an occasional blitz.

What works here:

  • A fixed weekly clean. Floors, surfaces, kitchen and bathrooms reset every week, so dust never builds into grime.
  • Glass on a plan. Exterior windows and sliding doors cloud quickly. Our window cleaning uses pure water and carries a 7-Day Rain Guarantee, and a monthly plan saves 15%.
  • AC filters every one to three months. Fine dust collects in the filters and recirculates. Filter and vent cleaning is from 199 AED per unit, with 10% off for three or more units.

Townhouses: the weekly rhythm that works

Most Villanova homes are three and four bedroom townhouses across two floors. For a family home that size, a weekly visit of three to four hours covers floors throughout, bathrooms, the kitchen properly, dusting and bed changes.

Our housekeeping service gives you the same vetted cleaner every visit, on a fixed day. It is 40 AED an hour when you provide the products, or 50 AED when we bring everything, with a two hour minimum. On a regular plan the rate comes down, to 36 AED once a week, 32 twice a week and 28 three times a week, on sessions of three hours or more. Our cleaning plans page shows the full ladder.

Families with young children or pets often move to twice a week. The house never gets a chance to slide, and the hourly rate drops too.

La Quinta villas: more space, more glass

The villas of La Quinta are larger homes on bigger plots, with more rooms, more glass and more outdoor space. Two things change for a villa:

  • Visit length. A full villa clean needs more hours, or two cleaners working together so the house is finished in one morning. The price simply scales per cleaner, per hour.
  • The outside. Terraces, gardens and paths carry most of the dust. Outdoor cleaning and pressure washing are a specialist job with their own crew and equipment, priced on the job, not part of a maid visit. Our patio, garden and pergola cleaning covers it.

Moving in or out of Villanova

Villanova changes hands steadily, with plenty of rentals, so move-in and move-out cleans are some of our most common Villanova bookings. The best time is the empty week between keys and boxes. An empty townhouse is the only time floors can be done edge to edge and every cupboard cleaned inside.

A deep clean is quoted on your home's size and condition. Send your cluster, bedroom count and a couple of photos on WhatsApp and we confirm a firm price, VAT included. For the right order on moving day, see whether to deep clean before or after moving in.

Barbecues, terraces and the weekend

Villanova is a community that lives outdoors from October to April. Barbecues leave grease on terrace tiles and walls, and sand gathers in the corners. A quick wash after each barbecue season, and a proper outdoor reset at the start of the cooler months, keeps the terrace usable. Our outdoor season guide explains the order that works.

How to book in Villanova

Send us your cluster, your home type and how often you would like a visit on WhatsApp. We confirm your cleaner, your day and your rate, and from then on it simply runs. Villanova is on our daily Dubailand routes, which is why weekly slots here hold reliably. Everything we offer in the community is on our cleaning services in Villanova page.

Frequently asked questions

Which clusters in Villanova do you cover?

All of them. We clean homes in Amaranta, La Quinta, La Rosa and La Violeta, and we will take bookings in La Tilia as its homes are handed over. Tell us your cluster and home type when you book.

How much does a maid cost in Villanova?

Housekeeping is 40 AED an hour with your products, or 50 AED with ours, with a two hour minimum. On a regular plan the rate drops to 36, 32 or 28 AED an hour at one, two or three visits a week, on sessions of three hours or more. Every rate includes VAT.

How many hours does a Villanova townhouse need each week?

Three to four hours covers most three and four bedroom townhouses for floors, bathrooms, kitchen, dusting and bed changes. Larger La Quinta villas need longer visits or two cleaners working together.

Why does my Villanova home get dusty so quickly?

Villanova sits in open Dubailand with building work still going on nearby, so fine dust arrives on the wind every day. A fixed weekly clean, glass on a plan and AC filters cleaned every one to three months keep it under control.

Can you do a move-out clean for our Villanova rental?

Yes. Move-out and move-in cleans are some of our most common Villanova bookings. They are quoted on your home's size and condition, and done best in the empty days between tenancies.

Will we have the same cleaner every week?

Yes. We assign a dedicated, vetted cleaner who keeps the same day and learns your home. If they are ever off sick, we arrange a replacement where one is available so your week stays covered.

Do you clean terraces and gardens too?

Yes, as a separate outdoor service. Terraces, paths and garden areas are cleaned by our outdoor crew with pressure-washing equipment and priced on the job, rather than as part of a maid visit.
