The cool months are when Dubai villas come alive. Barbecues on the patio, long dinners under the pergola, the whole family over for the holidays. Guests spend most of the evening outside, so that is where they notice the dust, the stains and the sand in the corners.
Here is how to get the outside ready, in the right order, without leaving it to the last weekend.
The hosting calendar
The big gatherings all land within a few weeks of each other, and so does everyone else's booking.

The days just before each holiday are the first to go. Book early and you choose the day, not the other way round.
What to cover, in the order guests see it
1. Driveway and garage. Guests park here and walk in from here. Oil stains on the driveway and a dusty garage are the first thing they see. Our garage cleaning treats oil and grease stains, and the driveway is pressure washed. Please move cars and belongings out before the team arrives.
2. Entrance and paths. Sand collects along the edges of every path and in front of the door. A wash here makes the whole house feel looked after.
3. Patio and pergola. The heart of the evening. We work top down: the pergola frame and slats first, then walls and screens, then the tiles last. Our patio, garden and pergola cleaning covers the lot.
4. Barbecue and outdoor furniture. Grease on the tiles around the barbecue and dust on every chair. The barbecue grill clean is an add-on to the outdoor service, and the furniture is wiped down as part of it.
5. Pool surround and artificial grass. Pool tiles go slippery and green in shaded corners. Artificial grass flattens and holds dust. Both come back with the right treatment, and grass brushing and sanitising is an add-on.
6. Glass doors and windows. The doors stay open all evening, so smeared glass stands out. Book window cleaning after the outdoor work, so the washing does not mark freshly cleaned glass. Exterior cleans carry our 7-Day Rain Guarantee, useful in the season when it actually rains.
7. Mosquito nets. Summer sun makes the mesh brittle, and evenings outside mean doors open at dusk. Mosquito net replacement is from 150 AED per window.
The right order, week by week
- One to two weeks before: book the outdoor clean and the windows.
- Three to five days before: the outdoor crew comes. Windows follow once the outside is done.
- One or two days before: the inside. Your regular maid visit, or a deep clean if the house needs a full reset. Sofas and rugs that guests will sit on can be refreshed with our sofa and carpet cleaning.
- The morning after: an extra visit to put the house back together.
The outdoor work is done by our outdoor crew, with pressure-washing equipment and the right products for each surface. It is priced on the area and the surfaces. Inside, your housekeeping carries on as usual.

Plates in the sink, glasses on every surface, crumbs in the sofa and sand walked through the house. If you have a regular plan, ask us to add an extra session the day after you host. If not, book the morning after at the same time as the outdoor clean, so it is already sorted when the guests leave.

How early should I book an outdoor clean before a party?
One to two weeks ahead, and two weeks ahead for National Day, Christmas or New Year's Eve. Those weeks fill up first. The clean itself is best done three to five days before you host.
Do you clean the barbecue?
Yes, the barbecue grill clean is an add-on to our patio, garden and pergola service. We also clean the grease off the tiles and walls around it.
Do I need to move my car before the driveway and garage are cleaned?
Yes, please. Pressure washing is wet work, so cars and belongings should be moved out of the garage, carport and driveway before the team arrives.
Should the windows be cleaned before or after the patio?
After. Washing the patio and pergola can splash the glass, so the windows come last. Exterior window cleans carry our 7-Day Rain Guarantee.
How much does an outdoor clean cost?
It is quoted on the area, the surfaces and the access, VAT included. Send a few photos on WhatsApp and we confirm a firm price the same day.
Can you clean the house after the party too?
Yes. Regular clients can add an extra session the day after. Otherwise, book the morning after together with the outdoor clean, so it is already arranged.
